Payment Terms & Refund Policy
Last Updated: 25-APR-2025
At Silent Freeway, we believe in clarity, accountability, and fair treatment in every client relationship. This page outlines our policies regarding payments, billing terms, and refunds for digital marketing services.
Payment Terms
- Project-Based Work: A minimum 50% deposit is required before project work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Retainer & Subscription Services: Monthly services (SEO, PPC management, content, etc.) are billed on a recurring basis, typically on the 1st of each month. Payment is due within 7 calendar days of the invoice date.
- Late Payments: Invoices more than 10 days past due may incur a 5% late fee and/or result in paused services until payment is received.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept ACH bank transfers, credit/debit cards (via Stripe or QuickBooks), and business checks with prior approval.
Scope and Service Modifications
All deliverables are governed by the agreed scope of work (SOW) or signed proposal. Requests outside of scope may require a revised estimate or change order. We’ll always notify you before any additional charges.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital marketing—where time, tools, and human resources are deployed immediately—refunds are generally not provided once work has begun.
However, we do believe in doing right by our clients. Refunds or credits may be considered under the following rare conditions:
- A duplicate payment was made in error
- No work has yet been performed and cancellation is requested in writing within 48 hours of payment
- A billing error occurred on our end
In all cases, refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@silentfreeway.com within 10 days of the billing date.
Project Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a project after work has begun:
- You are responsible for payment for work completed up to the cancellation point.
- All unused funds (for example, media budgets in ad accounts) will be returned to you or paused, depending on the ad platform.
- Deliverables already created will be provided in their current state, and access to shared tools or portals may be revoked if outstanding invoices remain.
Dispute Resolution
If there’s ever an issue, we encourage you to reach out immediately. Most concerns can be resolved quickly with a transparent conversation. Formal disputes should be submitted in writing.
